A Little About Sahitool
I’ve spent more time than I’d like to admit opening calculator websites just to find the number I needed, only to close three pop-ups first.
Sometimes I just wanted to know an EMI, check a percentage, or convert one unit to another. It shouldn’t feel like such a big task.
That small frustration is one of the reasons Sahitool exists. It started as a simple idea — make useful calculators and online utility tools that are easy to open, easy to understand, and free to use.
How Sahitool Started
The idea for Sahitool didn’t come from a big business plan.
It came from using websites that felt unnecessarily complicated. Too many ads. Too much text. Sometimes a calculator would be buried somewhere between things I didn’t even need.
I remember thinking, why can’t I just enter the numbers and get the answer?
So I decided to try building something myself.
The funny part is, I didn’t have everything figured out. I was still learning how websites work, how calculators should be built, how to fix things when they break, and how to make a site that doesn’t look terrible on a phone.
And yes, things broke.
There were moments when I’d change something that looked completely harmless and suddenly a page wouldn’t work properly. I’ve had to go back, check what I changed, fix mistakes, and sometimes start again.
There was definitely a point where I wondered if I was wasting my time.
But I kept working on it.
Sahitool launched in 2026, and it’s still growing. It’s nowhere near “finished” — and honestly, I don’t think it ever will be.
Why I Built This
The reason is pretty simple.
I was annoyed by complicated calculator websites.
I wanted to build something I would actually want to use myself.
I also wanted to learn. Building Sahitool has forced me to understand things I didn’t know before — websites, calculations, user experience, search, content, and all the small technical problems that nobody tells you about when you first start.
Most importantly, I wanted useful things to be available without someone having to pay just to get a basic calculation.
That’s the idea I’m trying to stick with.

Some tools are mainly useful for users in India, while others are useful anywhere.
The goal isn’t to have hundreds of tools just for the sake of having hundreds. I’d rather have a smaller tool that actually works properly.
What Sahitool Is Not
Sahitool is not a bank, financial institution, hospital, doctor, tax department, or government website.
The calculators here are meant to give you a quick estimate or help you understand a calculation. They aren’t a replacement for professional financial, medical, tax, or legal advice.
For example, an EMI calculator can help you estimate a loan payment, but your actual loan terms can depend on the lender, interest rate, fees, tenure, and other conditions.
The same idea applies to the health calculators. They’re useful for basic information, but a calculator can’t understand your complete health situation.
So please use the numbers here as a starting point, not as the final word.

How We Keep It Free
Sahitool is free to use, but running a website isn’t completely free.
There are domain and hosting costs, maintenance, development time, and plenty of little expenses that add up.
The site is funded through display advertising, including Google AdSense.
You may see ads while using Sahitool. That’s how I help cover the cost of keeping the site online without charging people for basic tools.
I’m also trying to keep the advertising reasonable. Nobody wants to open an EMI calculator and feel like they’ve accidentally entered an advertisement festival.
Still Learning
Sahitool is a work in progress.
I’m still improving the calculators, checking calculations, fixing small bugs, making pages load better, and trying to make the tools easier to use on mobile phones.
There will be mistakes along the way. If you find one, I’d genuinely rather hear about it than leave it sitting there.
One of the hardest parts of building a site by yourself is that you don’t always notice the things a normal visitor notices immediately.
So I’m learning as I go.

I’m Varun Kumar , the person behind Sahitool. I’m from New Delhi, India.
I’m not running a big company with a room full of developers. Sahitool started as a personal project, and I’m still learning many parts of it myself.
My background is Digital marketing expert and Financial Researcher . Building this website is one of the things I’ve been doing alongside my regular work/studies and everything else that comes with being a normal person trying to figure things out.
That’s pretty much the story behind Sahitool.
No huge office. No complicated origin story. Just a person who wanted to build something useful and decided to see where it could go.
